Natural Funeral Flowers

Like all my floral designs, I use only British flowers all year round. Most are grown locally, either by myself or by other independent flower growers nearby. Working exclusively with British flowers means my arrangements truly reflect the seasons while maintaining a low carbon footprint.

I specialise in natural funeral tributes that honour both the person being remembered and the environment. For floral tributes, I am often asked to include flowers and plants from the deceased’s own garden, making each tribute deeply personal and unique.

I no longer use floral foam. It is a single-use plastic that takes hundreds of years to degrade and releases microplastics which, when introduced to water, can be ingested by marine organisms. We give and receive flowers to celebrate the beauty of nature, and I believe this should never be at the expense of the natural world.

I can create all types of farewell flowers and natural floral tributes, from wreaths to letters, using moss and twine as a base. This also makes my arrangements suitable for natural burial sites.
